LHH is seeking a Concrete Estimator for a direct hire role in Raleigh, NC! The ideal candidate has 3+ years' experience in estimating within concrete construction. This position is fully in office Monday - Friday.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyze scope requirements and construct detailed bids based on paper or digital drawings.
- Cultivate strong relationships with General Contractors (GC) and oversee bid requests and quotes.
- Gain a deep understanding of bid processes and requirements, including site visits when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to company guidelines for labor and material costs to maximize project profitability.
- Manage the entire bid submission process, from receipt of drawings to final bid submission.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience reading drawings and developing estimates within the concrete construction industry
- Team player with a focus on building internal and external relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plan Swift, or BlueBeam, and ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Self-motivated, punctual, and capable of managing multiple tasks under moderate time-sensitive pressure.
